Monique James is an experienced attorney currently employed at HawkLaw since September 2019. Prior to this role, Monique served as an Attorney I at the Department of Social Services from August 2017 to September 2019. Earlier career experiences include working as a Law Clerk at MOORE TAYLOR LAW FIRM, P.A. from May 2016 to March 2017, and at the South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff in two capacities: Law Clerk from May 2015 to August 2015 and Lifeline Assistant from May 2013 to August 2014. Monique obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, graduating in May 2017, and attended the University of South Carolina from 2011 to 2013, as well as Winthrop University from 2009 to 2011.
