Catherine Abanio is a skilled medical laboratory technician and technologist with extensive experience in the medical technology field. Currently serving as a Medical Laboratory Technician at Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay since August 2022, Catherine also holds the position of Chief Medical Technologist at Lab @ Home, starting in May 2021. Previously, Catherine worked as a Senior Medical Technologist at Hi-Precision Diagnostics from June 2013 to December 2020, and at American Bio-Clinical Laboratories International from 2012 to 2013. Catherine began the professional journey at Makati Medical Center as a Junior Medical Technologist from January 2007 to February 2012. Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Santo Tomas between 2002 and 2006.
