Ahmed J. Matar is a Senior UX Designer at HAWK:AI, where responsibilities include evaluating features in the FinCrime/AML space, collaborating with Product Owners, conducting customer interviews for feature validation, and optimizing team workflows. Previously, Ahmed served as a Senior UX Engineer at HAWK:AI, focusing on developing design systems and refurbishing application architecture in ReactJS. At WeAdvise, Ahmed held the position of Senior Frontend Developer & UX Designer, designing and developing investment application dashboards. Other roles include UX Designer and Frontend Developer at Vodafone, where Ahmed created an Atomic Design Library, and UI Designer & Frontend Developer at Etisalat Misr. Earlier experience includes co-founding Orvich and contributions to marketing and logistics. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from The German University in Cairo and a specialization in User Interface Design from the University of Minnesota.
