Jon Boyd has over 18 years of experience in technical inspection and quality assurance roles within the welding and materials testing sectors. Currently serving as Lead Technical Specialist at Hawk Consultants LLC and Hawk Technical Services LLC since December 2017, responsibilities include overseeing all welding, processing, and inspection activities, as well as providing detailed reports to clients. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Inspector at Intertek and Level II NDT Technician at both Berg Pipe Mobile and Acuren, focusing on non-destructive testing techniques and quality control. Jon also has a background in military service as an Aviation Ordnance Technician in the US Navy, where duties involved ensuring the safety and performance of weapon systems on aircraft. Jon Boyd holds education from the University of Arkansas Grantham.
