Chris Whidden is an experienced professional in the life sciences and beverage industries, currently serving as CEO of Laʻau Pono, a Hawaii-based company focused on research, development, and manufacturing of value-added agricultural products and plant technology. In addition, Chris holds the position of VP and Brand Manager at Hawaii Cider Company and is involved in business development at Ola Brew Co. Chris also acts as President and Brand Manager at DragoNoni (DBA Hawaiian Ola), overseeing brand management and marketing strategies. Previous roles include President of Hawaiian Ethos LLC, where Chris facilitated medical marijuana licensing, as well as leadership positions at IMS and Volltron LLC, focusing on technology development and biotechnology solutions. Chris possesses a strong educational background with degrees in Molecular Biology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo and Kapi‘olani Community College.
