Alex Lim is an accomplished professional with significant experience in strategy and sustainability. Currently serving as the Director of Strategy & Sustainability and Director of Corporate Sustainability at HEI since January 2022, Alex advances enterprise-wide sustainability strategies and reporting. Previous roles include Manager of Strategic Development and Manager of Corporate Strategy at Hawaiian Electric, where Alex focused on decarbonization and led the development of a corporate five-year strategic plan. Earlier experience includes Project Leader and Global Strategist at Samsung Electronics and training at Harvard Business School. Alex holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Occidental College.
