Gary Bignami has extensive experience in both environmental services and life sciences, currently serving as Facilities Planner II at the Hawaii State Department of Education, overseeing environmental health and safety for over 250 K-12 schools. As the owner of Gary Bignami Consulting Services, Gary specializes in Life Sciences Grant and Contract bid and proposal services, alongside project management. Additional roles include Vice President of Communications for the Waikiki Swim Club, Director of Strategic Development at PanThera Biopharma, and various scientific and managerial positions at STI Research, STI Medical Systems, The Queen's Medical Center, and Hawaii Biotech, where Gary played a pivotal role in securing significant research funding and developing advanced technologies. Gary holds an M.S. in Toxicology from the University of Arizona and a B.A. in Pharmacology from UC Santa Barbara.
