Dr. Janine Fisk currently serves as a District Education Specialist for the Hawaii State Department of Education, a position held since July 2020. Prior to this role, Dr. Fisk was a Professor of Education Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from August 2013 to June 2020 and spent over two decades as a teacher with the Ceres Unified School District from August 1990 to June 2013. Dr. Fisk holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum and Instruction and another in Education from the University of the Pacific, where studies were completed from August 2009 to May 2012. Additionally, Dr. Fisk earned a Master's degree in Education/Reading Literacy from California State University, Stanislaus and a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the same institution.
