Kara Kitazaki-Chun is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality management and consulting. Currently serving as Vice President of Quality Management at HMSA since March 2014, Kara has also held roles as AVP and Director of Internal Audit within the same organization. Prior experience includes a position as Consulting Senior Manager at Accuity LLP from November 2007 to March 2014 and Senior Consultant at CAST Management Consultants between January 2002 and July 2004. Earlier in the career, Kara worked as Operations Manager at PeopleSupport from April 1999 to July 2001. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and Finance and an MPH in Health Services from UCLA Anderson School of Management and UCLA, respectively, as well as a BS in Biology from Loyola Marymount University. Additionally, a study abroad program in Business Administration and Management took place at Hitotsubashi University in 2006.
