Fernando Pizarro has extensive experience in management and journalism. Currently serving as the Manager of Vendor Risk Management and previously as Senior Manager of the Customer Relations Department at HMSA since January 2009, Pizarro focuses on creating innovative servicing channels and enhancing customer engagement through technology and social media. Prior to HMSA, Pizarro held editorial positions at The Honolulu Advertiser, The Tennessean, and The Leaf-Chronicle, where duties included supervising reporters and covering significant local events, such as the aftermath of a devastating tornado. Pizarro's educational background includes a BA in Journalism from LSU Shreveport and a BA in Physics from Centenary College of Louisiana.
