Amanda van Brakel has over 25 years of experience in product development, sourcing, and quality management within the apparel industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Product Development & Quality at HAVEP Workwear/Protective wear since March 2020, Amanda previously held positions such as Production & CSR Manager at FashionPower B.V. from 2016 to 2020 and Buying Manager for Private Label at HoutBrox from 2014 to 2016. Earlier roles include Sourcing & Production Manager for Jersey at WE Europe (2010-2014), Buying Manager for Women and Kids at Shoeby franchise (2002-2009), Buyer for Boys at the European Brands Organisation (1999-2002), and Product Manager/Buyer for Fabrics at JOJO B.V. (1997-1999). Amanda holds a degree in Bedrijfskunde, Textieltechnologie / Textielkunde from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, completed in 1997.
