Avery James is currently employed as a Merchandise Operations Coordinator at Havenly since March 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Global Social Benefit Fellow for both Santa Clara University’s Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Eggpreneur in 2019, focusing on social entrepreneurship initiatives aimed at alleviating global poverty. At Eggpreneur, Avery conducted extensive research, including interviews and workshops, to enhance sustainable farming practices in Kenyan communities, resulting in valuable training materials. Prior roles at Santa Clara University included Orientation Operations Coordinator and Orientation Leader, where skills in recruiting, training, and customer service were developed while fostering community engagement among new students and parents. Avery holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from Santa Clara University, completed in 2020.
