Adriana Mares is an engaged member of various organizations, currently holding positions with SACNAS, the United Nations Affinity Group, and the National Alliance for Hispanic Health, where Adriana is a Grant Awardee for the NIH All of Us Research Program. Mares serves as Vice President for Network at the World Youth Heart Federation and volunteers at HAVEN Free Clinic, while also being recognized as a Semi-Finalist for Forbes 30 Under 30. Mares is an active member of the National Hispanic Medical Association, Yale Polo, and Bharati Vidyapeeth's HEART TO HEART© Cardiology Interest Group. Academically, Mares holds a Master's of Science Degree in Public Health and Biological Sciences from The University of Texas at El Paso, along with both a Bachelor’s degree and an Associate’s degree in Biological Sciences from the same institution and others.
