Aisha Merced, LCSW-S, currently serves as a School Counselor and PSAT Coordinator at Bishop Lynch High School, providing academic and individual counseling to students in grades 9-12. Aisha also works as a Mental Health Therapist at Stonebridge Independent Counseling Center, where the establishment of a trusting rapport with clients is prioritized alongside the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. Previously, Aisha held the position of PRN Social Worker at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Frisco, performing assessments and conducting therapy. Aisha's extensive experience includes roles at JCCA as both an Administrative Supervisor and Therapeutic Social Worker, overseeing case planning for youth in foster care. Aisha began a Clinical School Social Work Practice Certificate at NYU Silver School of Social Work in August 2024, building on a robust educational background that includes a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
