Wayne Layton ACMA CGMA currently serves as the Executive Head of Regeneration, Economic Development and Preventative Services at Havant Borough Council since November 2022, previously holding the position of Interim Executive Head. Layton has extensive experience in finance, having held various significant roles at Portsmouth City Council from November 2001 to November 2022, including Finance Manager and Corporate Finance Specialist. Additionally, Layton has been a Director at Edith Stein Catholic Academy Trust since December 2015 and Ravelin Housing LTD from December 2019 to November 2022. Earlier experience includes a role as Port Accountant at Portsmouth International Ferry Port. Layton holds a BA Hons in Accountancy and Law from Solent University.
