Carlos Tamayo-Chaveco has extensive experience in both the medical and business sectors. Currently serving as the CEO and Owner of Macedon Construction LLC since September 2016, Carlos also practices medicine as a General Surgeon 1st Resident at Hospital General Docente Julio Trigo Lopez, and as a Medical Doctor at Naval Weapon Base North Charleston. Additionally, Carlos holds a position as a Medical Practitioner at Havana Specialist Hospital and has been involved with Solidaridad Sin Fronteras, Inc. since March 2014. Previous roles include Private Contractor at Charleston AFB Naval Base and a Surgical Resident at both Las Brisas Integral Diagnostic Center and Julio Trigo & A.A.Aballi Hospital. Carlos has a strong educational background with a Doctor en Ciencias Medicas from Universidad de Ciencias Medicas de La Habana and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Furthermore, Carlos has experience as a lecturer and professor, guiding clinical skills for medical students in Caracas, Venezuela.
