Stéphane Collignon

Stéphane Collignon is a seasoned academic and professional in the fields of digital creative industries and communications. Currently serving as Maitre-Assistant at Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard since September 2010, Stéphane lectures on animation, art, image analysis, scriptwriting, and convergence culture for both bachelor's and master's programs. Additionally, since July 2020, Stéphane has been an active member of the BD and Cinema Commissions for the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. Stéphane previously held the position of Doctoral Candidate in Information and Communications Studies at Université Libre de Bruxelles, focusing on animated film aesthetics and caricature. Stéphane's earlier roles include working as an English-speaking secretary at the European School of Brussels, and as an Assistant Account Executive at Strategy International Communications. Educational credentials include a BA, two Master's degrees, and a PhD in Journalism and Film Studies from Université libre de Bruxelles, along with experiences as a visiting scholar at UCLA and an exchange program at Concordia University.
