Sam Araia is an experienced legal professional with a strong focus on intellectual property law. Currently serving as an Associate at Hauptman Ham, LLP since January 2014, Sam has built a robust career with prior positions at Arent Fox as an IP Specialist, Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox as an International Specialist, and Banner & Witcoff, Ltd. as an International IP Specialist. Additional experience includes a role in Litigation Support at Morrison & Foerster LLP and as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Asmara, where responsibilities included teaching Contracts and Administrative Law. Sam Araia holds an LL.M in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School, an LL.M in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center - Max Planck Institute, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Asmara.
