Alberth Gomez has extensive work experience in the software engineering and quality assurance field. Alberth is currently serving as the Manager of Software Engineering at HatchWorks, a position they started in June 2023. Prior to this, Alberth worked at Huge, where they held several positions including Associate Director of Technology, Senior Quality Assurance Lead, and Quality Assurance Lead. Alberth was responsible for overseeing testing processes and ensuring the quality of software products. Before joining Huge, Alberth worked at Fiserv as an Engineering Team Manager and Quality Assurance Lead Center of Excellence, where they supervised teams and developed test plans. Alberth also served as a mentor for quality assurance processes. Alberth's earlier experience includes working as a Senior QA Engineer at Align Technology and as a Sr Automation Engineer and QA Engineer at Accenture.

Alberth Gomez has a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2017. Alberth also holds an Associate's degree in Computer Programming from COTEPECOS, obtained from 2011 to 2013, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Web Design from Tecnológico de Costa Rica, also obtained from 2011 to 2013. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf in November 2020, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certificate from Microsoft in July 2020, the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certificate from iSQI GmbH in November 2019, and the Scrum Master Professional Certificate (SMPC) from CertiProf in March 2022.
