Sian Burton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sian started their career at Bupa International, where they worked as a Project Manager and later as a Team Leader. At Bupa, they successfully managed cross-functional projects, implemented IT systems changes, and established effective relationships with clients and suppliers.
Sian then took on the role of Owner at The Queens Head, where they led the business turnaround and significantly increased turnover before selling the business for profit.
Afterwards, Sian joined i-KOS, a web design and development company, as a Project Manager. Here, they managed international projects and spearheaded digital transformation initiatives for a key financial services client.
Sian later joined Hastings Direct, where they held several positions including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, COO Business Manager, and most recently, Head of Customer Assurance. In these roles, they were responsible for delivering significant changes, managing projects and assignments, driving cost reduction initiatives, implementing risk frameworks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Sian also played a key role in strategy development and reporting at the board level.
Throughout their career, Sian has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and relationship-building skills, along with expertise in areas such as customer conduct, risk management, digital transformation, and IT systems implementation.
Sian Burton attended Falmer High School from 1989 to 1994. Sian then pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Art & Design at the Eastbourne College of Arts and Technology from 1994 to 1996. Finally, they obtained an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration from Brighton MET between 1996 and 1998.
