Ben McDermott is a Senior Geospatial Data Scientist at Hastings Direct since October 2022 and previously served as a Geospatial Analyst at Allianz Insurance from September 2020 to October 2022. Ben completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Fluid Dynamics at the University of Cambridge, where academic tenure spanned from October 2016 to September 2020. Prior educational achievements include obtaining a Master of Geophysics and Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the University of Leeds from 2012 to 2016, along with studies at the University of Alberta during 2014 to 2015.
