Leandro Cabral Quemel has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as an Operations Manager at Hashdex since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Vórtx as an Associate, Asset Pricing from March 2020 to April 2021. In this role, Leandro was responsible for overseeing the pricing of various securities, conducting in-depth analysis, and collaborating on control techniques.

Before joining Vórtx, Leandro took a sabbatical break from April 2019 to March 2020. Prior to their sabbatical, they worked at Banco Votorantim for a significant period from August 2009 to April 2019. Their role there was as a Risk Management Specialist, where they were involved in risk analysis and management.

Leandro's career began at RiskControl, where they served as a Manager from August 2004 to August 2009. Overall, Leandro's work experience showcases their expertise in risk management, asset pricing, and operations management.

Leandro Cabral Quemel has a Master's degree in Finance from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, completing their studies from 2000 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Leandro has obtained various certifications. These include the Financial Risk Manager certification from GARP FRM Program, which they achieved in April 2021. Leandro also completed the Credit Risk Modeling in Python and Quantitative Risk Management in Python courses from DataCamp in February 2020. Leandro earned the DAT207x: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI certification from Microsoft in January 2020, and the Data Analyst with Python certification from DataCamp in the same month. Leandro also acquired the Quantitative Risk Management in R and SQL Fundamentals certifications from DataCamp in January 2020. Leandro completed the Data Scientist with Python and Python Programmer certificates from DataCamp in July 2019. Prior to that, they obtained the Fundamentals of Visualization with Tableau certification from the University of California, Davis in January 2019. Additionally, Leandro earned the CPA-20 certification from ANBIMA Certificação e Educação in October 2020.
