Marc Zitzen is a seasoned environmental expert and educator with extensive experience in knowledge transfer and project coordination. Currently serving as a Docent and Researcher in Environmental Science at HAS University of Applied Sciences since August 2018, Marc previously held the position of Expert on Energy and Environment at Milieu Centraal from July 2006 to July 2018. Earlier career roles include Projects Coordinator at Wetenschapswinkel Biologie Universiteit Utrecht and Junior Teacher at Utrecht University, focusing on interdisciplinary skills and project management. Marc also contributed as Project Coordinator at Wetenschapswinkel Vrije Universiteit and served as Advisor for Nature Education at Amsterdams NME Centrum. Marc began the professional journey as Project Coordinator for Environment and Development at st Otherwise, after earning an MSc in Environmental Science from Wageningen University & Research in 2000.
