Cynthia Schultz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Federal Cybersecurity Engineering at Uptake since December 2020, Cynthia is responsible for the architecture and engineering of a new SaaS AWS GovCloud environment, alongside implementing security controls and conducting risk assessments at the FedRAMP High/DOD IL 5 level. Additionally, as an assessor for Harvard University's Cybersecurity program since May 2022, Cynthia provides grading and feedback on managing risk in the information age. Previous roles include Senior Technical Lead at Caliburn International, overseeing vulnerability management and penetration testing, and Head of Quality and Information Technology at Florida Beer Company, where Cynthia managed quality assurance and IT functions for a brewery. Educational accolades include a postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity from Harvard University and an MBA with a specialization in Project Management from Ellis University.
