Uri Rolls is an undergraduate research assistant at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian, focusing on developing an atmospheric filter for the ngEHT project to enhance imaging of the black hole M87, which has earned the Chambliss Award at the American Astronomical Society's winter conference. As a case team leader and analyst with the Harvard Undergraduate Consulting Group, Uri successfully led projects aimed at optimizing water consumption for a global hospitality client. Uri's experience also includes serving as a data scientist and AI specialist with the Israeli Ministry of Defense, specializing in data science and advanced Python tools, and prior work in satellite data optimization within the Israeli Intelligence Corps. Additionally, Uri completed a quantum nano-physics research internship at the University of Vienna. Currently enrolled at Harvard University, Uri is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Physics.
