Alvira Tyagi is a dedicated undergraduate at Harvard University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Government, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Neuroscience and Chemistry Course Assistant and an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Rubin Lab, Alvira is involved in exploring therapeutics for aging-related diseases. In addition, Alvira contributes to the Harvard Crimson as an Editorial Board Editor and Opinion Columnist, and writes for the Harvard Political Review as a Staff Writer and Healthcare Columnist. Alvira's commitment to community service is evident through roles such as Health Equity Scholar at Vital CxNs, supporting efforts to connect health resources to communities, and as a Peer Advising Fellow, guiding first-year students. Alvira's background includes founding Teens for Refugees and interning at Albany Medical College, focusing on Alzheimer’s disease research.
