Donald Chavis currently works at Hartzell Propeller, Inc. as a Composite Layup since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Abbott from October 2014 to January 2024 as an Assistant Chemist and Process Panel Operator, contributing to the aseptic formulation of nutritional products such as Ensure, Glucerna, and Pediasure. Prior to Abbott, Donald worked as a Process Operator at Cargill from July 2011 to October 2014 in a mass food production environment. Donald's earlier culinary experience includes positions as a Chef at ARAMARK Refreshment Services on the Florida International University campus from July 2009 to May 2010 and at La Piazza from June 2008 to June 2009, where skills in menu planning and Italian cuisine were honed. Donald Chavis holds an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University (2007-2008) and is pursuing further studies in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services at Florida International University.
