Gretchen Steines is a seasoned professional in purchasing and merchandising with extensive experience in retail. Currently serving as the Director of Purchasing & Merchandising at Hartig Drug since April 2023, Gretchen previously held the position of Buyer/Operations Coordinator. Prior to that role, Gretchen was the National Sales Manager at Alpine Corporation and worked at Theisen's Home Farm Auto from April 2012 to September 2022 as a Senior Buyer, managing multiple purchasing categories including Lawn & Garden, Toys, Giftware, and Food & Beverage. Previous positions also include Manager of General Merchandise at Hy-Vee from 2008 to 2012 and Store Manager at Hartig Drug from 1999 to 2008. Education includes studies at Loras College and Wahlert High School.
