MaryEllen Hope Kosturko, DNP, MAHSM, RN, CENP, currently serves as the Executive Vice President and System Chief Nursing Officer at Hartford HealthCare, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, MaryEllen spent over sixteen years at BRIDGEPORT HOSPITAL/YALE NEW HAVEN HEALTH, serving as Sr. Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, and held various positions at Bridgeport Hospital from 1990 to 2006, including Director of Perioperative and Procedural Areas and Manager of Ambulatory Surgery. MaryEllen's nursing career began at St. Vincent Medical Center in 1988. Educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Yale University, a Master of Arts in Health Systems Management from Sacred Heart University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing from Fairfield University.
