Mykhailo Shapkin is a Computer Science Teacher at Harrow International School Bangkok, currently overseeing the Byron House Camp and achieving outstanding IGCSE results for the 2023-24 cohort. With a strong focus on innovative Computing pedagogy, Mykhailo has contributed to the development of a KS3 Computing curriculum and has participated in a STEAM Leadership course. Prior experience includes teaching at Srinakharinwirot University, where Mykhailo served as Head of House and Innovation Officer, and was instrumental in achieving excellent IGCSE results. Mykhailo also taught Mathematics at Yothinburana School, improving average IGCSE scores, and volunteered at St. Nicholas Cathedral before pursuing a career in education. Mykhailo holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, a PGCE in Education, and is currently pursuing Qualified Teacher Status.
