Bernard D. Cambou, PhD., MBA, serves as an advisor at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research since July 2023, providing insights on commercialization projects and investment opportunities for the institute's $60M venture fund. Since August 2017, Bernard has been a Business Development Advisor at the Harrington Discovery Institute, supporting physician-scientist scholars in the commercialization of their technologies. As Owner and Managing Director of Arverne Bio LLC since October 2010, Bernard focuses on corporate and business development in biopharmaceuticals, interim management, and due diligence support. Bernard has held various leadership roles, including President of PriZm Therapeutics, Chief Business Development Officer at Targazyme, Managing Partner of Alliance4Growth, and CEO of Cytomics Pharmaceuticals. With a solid educational foundation including postdoctoral work at MIT and an Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School, Bernard brings extensive expertise across multiple facets of the life sciences industry.
