Beth (Lisabeth) Coakley is an accomplished intellectual property attorney with over forty years of domestic and international legal experience. Currently serving as a Principal at Harness, Dickey & Pierce, P.L.C. since 1993, Beth focuses on trademark and copyright procurement, licensing, and enforcement. Previously, Beth held the positions of Chief IP Counsel for the largest retail company in the world and Vice President of the largest IP retail holding company from 1985 to 1993. Early legal career included a clerkship with Chief Justice G. Mennan Williams at the Michigan Supreme Court in 1980. Beth earned a Juris Doctorate Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law and an undergraduate degree with honors from Oakland University, where studies were completed in three years.
