Stefan Huizer has a diverse professional background spanning over two decades in software engineering and development roles. Currently serving as a Business Information Services Officer and Development Officer at Harmony Gold since May 2018, Stefan previously contributed to OCLC from October 2001 to November 2016 as a Software Engineer, developing data import and conversion software, as well as user interfaces for library systems. Early career experiences include a Junior Software Engineer Traineeship at Computeach and a role as a Loading Inspector at Vopak, supervising the handling of chemicals and oils. Stefan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, earned between 1991 and 1995.
