Jean Buchnik has extensive work experience in the technology industry. From 1996 to 1998, they worked as an Application Engineer at Applicom, where they assisted customers with integrating various products. Jean gained expertise in Versant, an object-oriented database, and Orbix, a Corba framework for writing distributed applications. From 1998 to 2003, Jean was an R&D developer at Mainsoft Corporation (later renamed harmon.ie), where they focused on porting Windows APIs and Com\Dcom to UNIX\Linux. Jean also had deep knowledge of object-oriented languages such as C/C++, Java, and C#, as well as Windows and UNIX\Linux operating systems. Since 2003, Jean has served as the Director of Technical Support at harmon.ie, where they managed different products and addressed issues related to C#, Java, mobile apps, cloud applications hosted in MS Azure, and C\C++ frameworks on various UNIX flavors operating systems. Jean'sexpertise includes handling compile time, runtime issues, bugs, crashes, freezes, hang, and network issues.

Jean Buchnik received a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Applied Mathematics from Sup Galilée. The duration of the program was from 1989 to 1995.
