In addition, they have worked in roles such as Regional Coordinator and Sexuality Educator at Planned Parenthood and as an Intern at Ipas. Emily's early career includes serving as the Development and Special Events Manager at Jumpstart, where they supported low-income children and families with school readiness initiatives. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and partnership-building skills.
Emily Gertz, MPH has a Master's in Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Health Behavior and Health Education from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Emily also obtained a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Women's Health and Psychology from University of Michigan. In 2013, Emily obtained additional certifications including High Impact Leadership from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, and Faculty Trainer for Treating Patients with C.A.R.E. Customer Service Program from the Institute for Healthcare Communication.
