Afonso Nascimento currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Hargreaves Lansdown since September 2023. Prior to this role, Afonso held various positions at The Boston Consulting Group, including Partner and Managing Director, as well as Principal, from November 2009 to April 2021. Afonso also worked as Director of Marketing and Project Office at Banco Espirito Santo SE from June 2006 to October 2009, and previously at BCG from January 1997 to June 2006 as a Manager. Afonso earned an MBA in Financial Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management between 1999 and 2001 and holds a degree from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, completed from 1991 to 1996.
