Erica Sanders is a Staff Hydrogeologist at Hargis + Associates, Inc. since October 2020. Prior to this role, Erica served as the Liaison for Undergraduate Research at Northern Arizona University Office of Undergraduate Research, where responsibilities included building outreach for research opportunities and mentoring students. In addition, Erica was the Principal Investigator for the Hooper Undergraduate Research Award, successfully obtaining a grant to study the effects of European-induced fire-suppression on sediment flow in Ponderosa Pine forests. Earlier in the career, Erica worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at Northern Arizona University Academic Success Centers, aiding general chemistry students and mentoring peers. Erica holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from Northern Arizona University, attained in 2020.
