Danny Hermes is an accomplished technology leader and co-founder with expertise in software architecture and infrastructure automation. Currently serving as an Advisor and Co-founder & CTO at Hardfin since March 2022, Danny has successfully automated invoicing and revenue recognition processes for hardware-as-a-service solutions while leading a team of engineers. Previous experience includes a Staff Software Engineer role at Blend, where Danny played a key role in migrating critical services, improving infrastructure efficiency, and serving as a core maintainer of a Go monorepo. A Python Trainer at Python Training and Software Consultant at Google prior to that, Danny has a diverse background in software development, teaching, and academic research, holding a PhD in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley and a BS in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
