Xiaoyu S. has a diverse work background with roles in research, cyber science and leadership. Starting from 2015, Xiaoyu worked at Sino-U.S. Relations Group Engagement as a Planning Board Member and Symposium Panel Leader. From 2015 to 2018, Xiaoyu served as Executive Board Member of the Director's Leadership Council at Tufts University. Afterward, starting from 2018 onwards, Xiaoyu worked as a Research Assistant for EAGER Project at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and as a Cyberscience Intern at Harbor Labs. At Harbor Labs, Xiaoyu worked in multiple roles starting from being an Associate Research Scientist in 2020 to a Research Scientist in 2021, and finally, as the Director of Research and Analysis in 2023.
Xiaoyu S. completed a Master of Science-MS degree in Security Informatics at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering from 2018 to 2020. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2018, Xiaoyu S. earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs and Computer Science from Tufts University. Xiaoyu S. obtained a High School Diploma from Nanjing Foreign Language School between 2008 and 2014. The field of study was null for the high school diploma.
