Lungelo Linda Gumede is the Founder and CEO of Excel@Uni, a role held since 2018, focusing on supporting university students to enhance their chances of success. In addition to this venture, Lungelo is a Fellow at Harambeans, contributing to a network of African entrepreneurs dedicated to unlocking Africa's potential. Lungelo has substantial experience in academia, having served as a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Cape Town from 2015 to 2023, teaching various finance courses to MBA and MCom students. Previous roles include mentoring startups as an Akro Accelerate-Township Mentor and holding various tutoring positions at the University of Cape Town. Lungelo holds a Master of Development Finance and a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
