Mkhitar Akopian, FMVA®, has a diverse work experience in corporate development, strategy, and finance. Mkhitar recently served as the Director of Corporate Development at Happy Numbers, Inc., where they played a key role in expanding the business to emerging markets and facilitating strategic mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Akopian worked as the Senior Manager of Corporate Development at VK, where they successfully grew VK Education's revenue through strategic investments and implemented an effective EdTech strategy. Mkhitar also led the launch of new revenue streams and expanded into global markets. Before joining VK, Akopian held the position of Principal at Phystech Ventures, where they focused on venture capital and investment activities. Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience in M&A advisory at EY and as a Senior Analyst at Hi Capital Corporation. Akopian's expertise lies in driving revenue growth, executing strategic initiatives, and expanding into new markets. Their accomplishments include significantly increasing revenue and valuation, launching successful products, and expanding operations globally.

Mkhitar Akopian, FMVA®, completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Peoples' Friendship University of Russia in 2012. Mkhitar then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Economics from the same institution in 2013.

In 2022, Mkhitar enrolled in Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) to pursue the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis program. Mkhitar successfully completed this program in 2023. While studying at CFI, they also obtained additional certifications, including Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions Financial Modeling, and Startup / e–Commerce Financial Model & Valuation.
