Jim True has a diverse work experience in various roles related to safety, security, and risk management. Jim started their career as the VP of Safety, Security, and Risk at Reliable Carriers Inc in December 2012 and held this position until January 2018. Jim then joined Modot Motor Carrier Svc as the Director of Motor Carrier Services Division in 2018 and stayed there until September 2020. In August 2020, they joined Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. as the Sr. Director of EHSS and worked there until September 2021. Currently, Jim True is working at Hansen & Adkins Auto Transport as the Managing Director of Safety, Security & Risk, a position they have held since July 2020.

Jim True attended the University of Arkansas, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Additionally, from 1980 to 1982, they attended Southwest Tennessee Community College and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Police Science and Administration.
