Xingmei Zhang has work experience in Hansa Biopharma and Karolinska Institutet. At Hansa Biopharma, they have been the Global Franchise Program Lead since April 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Scientist from September 2018 to April 2023. At Karolinska Institutet, Xingmei held various positions including Assistant Professor (affiliated) since September 2018, Assistant Professor from January 2015 to August 2018, and Postdoc from January 2011 to December 2014.

Xingmei Zhang pursued their education from 2004 to 2010 at the Karolinska Institutet, where they obtained a PhD degree. During this time, their field of study focused on neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation.
