Lena Wester Rosenlöf has a diverse work experience, primarily in the biopharmaceutical industry. Starting in 2001, Lena worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Rostock, focusing on the genetic components of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. In 2003, they joined the University of Lund as a project assistant and later as a post-doctoral researcher, leading their own research grants in studying the chronic component of rheumatoid arthritis using rat models.
Moving into industry, Lena joined Alligator Bioscience AB in 2010 as a Scientist before transitioning to A1M pharma AB in 2011. At A1M pharma AB, Lena worked as a laboratory manager and project leader, overseeing various activities related to CMC (chemistry, manufacturing, and controls) and ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities. Lena'srole also involved managing the production process, analytical assays, and documentation for clinical trial applications.
Most recently, Lena joined Hansa Biopharma AB (publ) in 2019 as a CMC Senior Scientist, applying their expertise in process and analytical development to support the company's biopharmaceutical operations. Throughout their career, Lena has demonstrated strong leadership, technical skills, and the ability to take projects from academic research to clinical studies.
Lena Wester Rosenlöf earned a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Lund University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.
