Abid Ali has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Abid most recently worked as the Head of Finance and Accounting at Hanif Rajput, where they were responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, trend analysis, cash flow planning, implementing effective controls, tax planning, and treasury operations.

Prior to that, Abid served as the Group Head of Finance and Accounts at Eliya Food Overseas Ltd. and Galaxy Food & Beverage Ltd. Here, they worked as a Financial Controller for a dairy company and the country's largest meat processing company. Abid provided strategic financial analysis to the board, coordinated budgeting and forecasting processes, ensured compliance with regulatory and tax legislation, implemented an ERP system, and managed a team of nine employees.

Before joining Eliya Food Overseas Ltd., Abid was the Head of Finance and Accounts at Saakh Group, where they provided accurate and timely financial services, ensured statutory reporting and compliance, developed finance policies and procedures, managed the annual audit process, and worked as a Senior Manager Finance & Business Analyst.

Abid also worked as a Consultant at Aggreko International Projects Limited, where they provided sales support services, debt collection, and facilitated accounting reconciliation work. Abid also worked as a Project Accountant and Site Accountant at the same company, where they participated in the finalization of monthly management reports, monitored funds and budgets, ensured compliance with tax regulations, and liaised with government agencies.

Additionally, Abid has experience as the Chief Accountant at California Natural Products, where they gained experience working in a fast-moving consumer goods industry. Abid also worked as an Assistant Manager at Pak Suzuki Motor Co. and as a Management Trainee in the Treasury Department at Pakistan Petroleum Limited.

Throughout their career, Abid has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic analysis, budgeting, compliance, and team management.

Abid Ali has a background in forensic accounting and audit, having obtained a certification as a forensic expert from the Institute of Forensic Expert. Additionally, they pursued further education in the field of management accounting and finance, earning an ACMA degree from the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan. Alongside, they also completed a Masters in Economics from Karachi University, specializing in the field of economics.
