Sharla'smost recent position was as Director of Agency Sales at Hand Picked Hotels, where they managed a portfolio of TMCs and venue finding agents. Prior to that, they were a Regional Sales Manager at Hand Picked Hotels, responsible for driving sales and revenue for two Kent hotels and developing the travel trade segment for all 21 hotels in the collection. Sharla also has experience in product development, sales consulting, and events sales management. Sharla has worked for companies such as Kent County Council, City Inn, The Spa Hotel, Priestfield Conference & Banqueting, and Marriott International.
From 1994 to 1997, Sharla Payne attended the University of Bedfordshire, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Travel & Tourism. Sharla successfully completed their degree, earning a 2:1 classification.
