Sean Podvent has extensive work experience in executive management, product development, and design roles. Sean'smost recent position is as the CEO and Head of Product at Hand iQ, a company that specializes in connected devices for hand hygiene. In this role, Sean is responsible for overseeing the go-to-market strategy, fundraising, and early-stage business partnerships. Prior to this, Sean was the Co-Founder and CEO of a connected device company that focused on making soap dispensers human-aware and promoting hand hygiene through gamification.

Sean has also held leadership positions at Rocket Rounding, where they served on the Board of Directors and as Co-Founder and Head of Product. At Rocket Rounding, they oversaw product development and design of a SaaS solution aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness in hospitals.

Before their time at Rocket Rounding, Sean founded and served as the Head of Product & Design at Ideate+Create+Go (IDCG, LLC) from 2012 to 2019. In this role, they managed the development and design of SaaS and HaaS solutions for healthcare communication and patient experience improvements. Sean also secured financial investment from commercial partners.

Earlier in their career, Sean worked as the Director of Innovation with AUTO 100 Media at TrueCar, Inc., where they provided creative leadership for digital content production and web development teams. Sean managed a team of 15 content producers and developers in creating digital content connected to a proprietary ranking platform.

Sean's experience also includes roles as a Lead Copywriter/Technical Writer at Applied Minds, a Lead Technical Writer at Certified Security Solutions, and a Technical Writer at Hollywood Entertainment.

Sean Podvent attended the University of Oregon from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. Sean'sfield of study included English Literature, with a minor in Philosophy & Business Administration.
