Sabiya Davis is a skilled designer currently employed at Hanbury since August 2023. Previously, Sabiya served as a research assistant at the University of Virginia from August 2021 to June 2023, providing support to students and faculty in gathering research materials and facilitating meeting arrangements. In early 2022, Sabiya organized a design-thinking-focused summer camp at Wildrock, aimed at high school students interested in stewardship and sustainable design. Additional experience includes a retail salesperson position at PlantHouse in 2021, where responsibilities involved conducting terrarium workshops and store maintenance, and a summer internship at Quinn Evans in 2020, assisting with architectural projects and editing Masterplans. Sabiya holds an undergraduate degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from The University of Virginia School of Architecture, completed in May 2023, and attended Open High School from 2015 to 2019.
