Mary Bearkland has extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations. Mary began their career as a Clinical Research Assistant at Anaquest in 1990 and went on to work as a Sr. Clinical Trials Associate at Jassen Research Foundation from 1991 to 1993. Mary then joined Novartis as a Sr. Clinical Research Associate from 1993 to 1995. From 1995 to 2002, Mary worked as a Clinical Research Consultant at their own company, Mary A. Bearkland, Inc. Mary later worked as an Independent Contractor, serving as a Clinical Research Consultant from 2010 to 2016. Mary then transitioned to Kala Pharmaceuticals, where they held the roles of Manager, Clinical Operations from 2016 to 2018, and Director, Clinical Operations from 2018 to 2021. Mary subsequently joined ORYN THERAPEUTICS, LLC as a Sr. Director of Clinical Operations from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Mary holds the position of Sr. Director of Clinical Operations at HanAll Biopharma, starting in November 2022.

Mary Bearkland is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Science Education at Syracuse University, with coursework completed. Mary has a Pharmaceutical-Chemical MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University, having completed 33 credit hours. Mary also holds an MST degree from Lemoyne College.
