Javier Garcia Vega has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Javier started their career as a Purchasing Clerk at LSG Sky Chefs in 2003 and later worked as a Pacesetter at Crate and Barrel from 2002 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, Javier served as a Store Manager at Blockbuster. Javier then transitioned to a managerial role at Bed Bath & Beyond from 2011 to 2015. Javier then gained sales experience as a Sales Manager at Macy's from 2015 to 2016. Javier further expanded their culinary skills by working as a Culinary intern at Sea Pines Real Estate at The Beach Club in 2017 and at Disney's Polynesian Resort from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, Javier joined CO as the Head Chef until mid-2018. Currently, Javier is with Hana Group as the Area Manager, a role they have held since late 2018, and also has been appointed as the Director of Operations since May 2022.
Javier Garcia Vega pursued a culinary degree at Virginia College from 2016 to 2017, specializing in Culinary Arts/Chef Training. Prior to this, they studied Business, Management, Marketing, and related support services at CUNY College of Staten Island from 2006 to 2008. Javier also completed a program in architectural drafting and architectural CAD/CADD at The City University of New York from 2002 to 2006.
